Section 1. Name
The name of this organization shall be Medlock Place Neighborhood Association.
Section 2. Organization
The Association is formed for civic, non-profit purposes. Upon dissolution of the Association any and all assets will be distributed to the members in good standing. The Association shall not be operated so as to benefit any private member or individual.
Section 3. Purpose
The purpose of this Association is to promote our Central and Camelback Neighborhood; facilitate communication between the residents and the City of Phoenix; provide and maintain updated information for the members regarding activities, which might have an impact on the future growth or improvements within the neighborhood; encourage active participation by the membership and promote good will among the members of the Association; protect the residential integrity of the neighborhood; promote the quality of family living in the North Central city area, and preserve the unique personality of the neighborhood; provide for expansion and growth of commercial facilities in such a manner as to preserve, protect and enhance the quality of the residential area; encourage employees of commercial establishments in the area to reside in the neighborhood; promote the restoration of existing properties and encourage compatible new developments including commercial along the east, west, and southern boundaries.
Section 4. Boundaries
The Association is bounded by Missouri on the North, Camelback on the South, Central Avenue on the East and Seventh Avenue on the West.
